2. Offer and products
2.1. Tverdi Houten Producten BV offers through the webshop, among other things, solid oak products, tabletops, tables, doors, shelves, acoustic panels, window sills, oak legs, and 3-layer panels.
2.2. All product descriptions, images, dimensions, colors, qualities, and other specifications are presented as accurately as possible. Wood is a natural product. Variations in color, grain, knots, structure, finish, and dimensions within reasonable tolerances are characteristic of the material and do not constitute a defect.
2.3. Images on the webshop are illustrative. The actual delivered product may slightly differ from the shown images.
2.4. If a product is made to measure, according to the customer's specifications or upon individual request, it is considered custom work.
3. Formation of the agreement
3.1. The agreement is formed at the moment the customer places an order and Tverdi Houten Producten BV confirms this order or begins its execution.
3.2. Tverdi Houten Producten BV reserves the right to refuse an order or impose additional conditions, for example in the case of obvious errors, incomplete information, payment issues, or suspicion of abuse.
4. Prices
4.1. All prices on the webshop are displayed in euros.
4.2. Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT for consumers. If prices are displayed excluding VAT for certain products or customer types, this will be clearly indicated before completing the order.
4.3. Shipping costs, any costs for assembly, customization, delivery by appointment, or other additional costs will be clearly stated before placing the order.
4.4. Obvious pricing errors, typographical errors, or technical errors do not bind Tverdi Houten Producten BV.
4.5. If an incorrect price is listed on the website, the seller is obliged to inform the buyer in writing without delay and to communicate the correct price. Furthermore, the price listed on the website must be corrected without delay. The customer retains the right to cancel the order.
5. Payment
5.1. Payment is made via the payment methods offered during checkout on the webshop. An order will only be processed after the required payment or payment authorization has been received.
5.2. Tverdi Houten Producten BV may suspend delivery until full payment is received.
5.3. In the event of non-payment, late payment, or chargeback, Tverdi Houten Producten BV reserves the right to suspend, terminate the agreement, or refuse further orders.
6. Delivery and execution
6.1. Tverdi Houten Producten BV aims to deliver the ordered products within the timeframe specified on the webshop. For many products, an indicative delivery time of 14 to 30 working days applies.
6.2. The stated delivery times are indicative, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. If no specific delivery time has been agreed upon with a consumer, Tverdi Houten Producten BV aims to deliver no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the agreement, subject to force majeure or other legal exceptions. In the event of non-delivery, the consumer has the rights provided by the applicable mandatory consumer law.
6.3. Delivery takes place at the address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery information.
6.4. If delivery proves impossible due to incorrect information, absence of the customer, insufficient accessibility, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Tverdi Houten Producten BV, additional costs may be charged.
6.5. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer at the moment of delivery, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumers
7.1. If the customer is a consumer and makes a purchase at a distance, he generally has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, starting from the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by him physically takes possession of the product.
7.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform Tverdi Houten Producten BV unambiguously within the withdrawal period by email, in writing, or by using the model withdrawal form made available on the website. The customer may also use another clear statement indicating their decision to withdraw from the agreement unambiguously.
7.3. After withdrawal, the customer must return the product without delay, and no later than 14 days after the day on which they communicated their decision to withdraw, unless otherwise agreed.
7.4. The customer is only responsible for the direct costs of returning the product if this has been clearly communicated to the consumer in advance. If Tverdi Houten Producten BV does not provide this information in advance, these costs cannot be charged to the consumer. If Tverdi Houten Producten BV explicitly states that it will bear the return costs itself, that arrangement applies.
7.5. The customer must handle the product with care and only use or inspect it as they would be allowed to do in a physical store. Depreciation resulting from use that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product may be charged.
7.6. Tverdi Houten Producten BV will refund all payments received from the consumer, including the standard delivery costs of the return shipment, within 14 days after being informed of the cancellation. Tverdi Houten Producten BV may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or until the consumer has provided proof that they have returned the goods, whichever comes first. If Tverdi Houten Producten BV has not properly informed the consumer about the right of withdrawal, legal consequences may apply, including an extension of the withdrawal period in accordance with applicable consumer law.
7.7. The model withdrawal form is made available on the website in a downloadable or printable format.

8. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
8.1. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made according to customer specifications, are clearly intended for a specific person, are delivered as custom-made, or in other cases where the law allows an exception.
8.2. Products for which the product page states "Contact us for individual orders" or that are made upon request in a specific size, color, finish, or composition are generally considered custom-made.
9. Commercial 30-day money-back guarantee
9.1. If Tverdi Houten Producten BV mentions a 30-day money-back guarantee on the webshop, it applies as a commercial concession in addition to the legal rights of the consumer.
9.2. Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page or confirmed in writing, this commercial guarantee does not apply to custom-made, personalized products, specially ordered goods, used or damaged products, or products that are no longer in their original condition.
9.3. To make use of this commercial guarantee, the customer must contact sales@tverdihoutenproducten.be within 30 calendar days after receipt.
9.4. Tverdi Houten Producten BV may attach reasonable conditions to the return, including inspection of the goods and proper packaging for return transport.
10. Inspection upon receipt and complaints
10.1. The customer must immediately check the delivered products upon receipt for visible damage, errors, or shortages.
10.2. Visible defects, transport damage, or incorrect deliveries must be reported as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after delivery in writing or by email, with clear photos and a description of the problem.
10.3. Hidden defects or conformity issues must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery.
10.4. Filing a complaint does not automatically suspend the payment obligation.
11. Legal warranty
11.1. Consumers have the right to a legal warranty of 1 year for new goods in accordance with applicable Belgian consumer law.
11.2. The legal warranty covers defects in conformity that exist at the time of delivery and manifest within the legal warranty period.
11.3. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, damage due to improper use, incorrect maintenance, faulty assembly, or careless handling, natural properties of wood within normal tolerances, or modifications and repairs carried out by the customer or third parties without the permission of Tverdi Houten Producten BV.
11.4. If a defect falls under the legal warranty, the consumer is entitled to free repair or replacement, or — if that is not possible or disproportionate — to a reasonable price reduction or cancellation in accordance with the law.
12. Wood as a natural product
12.1. The customer expressly acknowledges that wood is a natural product and that variations in color, grain, knots, cracks, structure, movement, expansion, shrinkage, and small dimensional differences are inherent to the material.
12.2. Such natural characteristics do not constitute a defect as long as they fall within normal, reasonable, and customary tolerances.
12.3. The customer is responsible for following any maintenance, installation, and usage instructions.
13. Liability
13.1. Tverdi Houten Producten BV is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, loss of opportunities, loss of data, or other indirect damage, except in cases of intent, gross negligence, or when mandatory law provides otherwise.
13.2. The liability of Tverdi Houten Producten BV is in all cases limited to the value of the relevant order, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
13.3. This limitation does not apply in the event of death or bodily injury caused by an act or negligence of Tverdi Houten Producten BV to the extent that legal liability cannot be excluded.
14. Force Majeure
14.1. Tverdi Houten Producten BV is not liable for delays or shortcomings in the performance of the agreement if they are the result of force majeure.
14.2. Force majeure includes, among other things: disruptions in transport, delivery problems with suppliers, machine breakdowns, fire, pandemics, strikes, government measures, war, cyber incidents, power outages, and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Tverdi Houten Producten BV.
14.3. In the event of force majeure, Tverdi Houten Producten BV has the right to suspend the performance of the agreement or to terminate the agreement in whole or in part.
15. Intellectual Property
15.1. All texts, images, logos, product information, designs, photos, graphic elements, and other content on the webshop are the property of Tverdi Houten Producten BV or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property rights.
15.2. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or otherwise use content from the webshop without prior written consent, except for strictly personal and non-commercial use.

We deliver orders within Belgium and, depending on the product and logistical possibilities, also to other countries within the European Union and possibly beyond.

3. Order processing
Orders are processed after payment has been correctly received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Delivery times
4.1 Indicative deadlines
The delivery times mentioned on the webshop or website are indicative, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
For many products in the webshop, a note of "Shipping: 14 - 30 business days" applies. Additionally, the general page "Delivery and payment" on the main site states an estimated delivery time of 3–10 business days after shipping, depending on the country and carrier. Therefore, a distinction must be made between the preparation time before shipping and the transport time after effective shipping.
4.2 No fatal deadline
Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, delivery times do not constitute fatal deadlines. A delay does not automatically entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation of the agreement.

• availability of stock;
• custom or individual orders;
• packaging and transport requirements;
• delivery country and region;
• carrier capacity;
• holidays, force majeure, or other external circumstances.
5. Customization, large volumes, and individual orders
Some products are delivered on request, in specific dimensions, or as individual orders. For such products, longer processing and delivery times may apply.
For large tabletops, doors, panels, window sills, or other bulky wood products, special transport or an individual delivery arrangement may also be required.
6. Shipping costs
Any shipping costs will be displayed before completing the order via the webshop, or communicated separately when it comes to custom orders, heavy or bulky goods, international deliveries, or special logistical requirements.
If the webshop does not show an automatic shipping price for a specific order, Tverdi Houten Producten BV reserves the right to propose a separate transport quote.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders will be delivered to the address provided by the customer.
The customer is responsible for:
• correctly filling in name, address, and contact details;
• the accessibility of the delivery location;
• providing sufficient access for the delivery of larger products if reasonably necessary.
If delivery is not possible due to incorrect address details, absence of the customer, inaccessible location, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery, storage, or return costs may be charged.
8. Receipt of the Order

Ownership of the goods only transfers after full payment has been received, as far as legally permitted.
11. Tracking and Communication
If applicable and available through the carrier used, a tracking information or shipping confirmation may be provided after shipping.
However, automatic tracking information may not be available for every delivery or transport type, particularly for special transport or custom shipments.
12. Damaged or Lost Shipments

2. General
We strive for correct delivery of quality wooden products. Since wood is a natural product and part of our offering is sold custom-made or according to product specifications, specific return rules apply.
This Return Policy does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers under applicable Belgian and European consumer law. Consumers who purchase online generally have a right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days, subject to legal exceptions.
3. Right of withdrawal for consumers
3.1 Standard right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and purchase a product online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, physically takes possession of the product.
3.2 How do you report a return or withdrawal?
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us before the end of the withdrawal period through an unambiguous statement, for example by email to:

3.3 Deadline for return
After your notification of withdrawal, you must return the goods without delay and no later than 14 calendar days, unless we explicitly confirm otherwise in writing. The return period is complied with if you send back the goods before the expiration of that period.
4. Conditions for an acceptable return
A return is only accepted if:
the product has been handled with care;
